Veronica Swift

At the young age of 24, Veronica Swift is being called “one of the top jazz singers” in the country. In the past 3 years, she has racked up numerous acknowledgements of her talent, including 2nd place at the Thelonious Monk Jazz Competition, an individual concert at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center, Headliner at the 2016 Telluride Jazz Festival….and the list goes on. Veronica got an early start, the daughter of jazz vocalist Stephanie Nakasian and the late noted pianist Hod O’Brien, recording her first CD when she was 9, with Richie Cole. At 11, she appeared with her mother in the “Women in Jazz” series at Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola at Lincoln Center. Since then she has soared, starting a residency at the famous Birdland Jazz Club in NYC in 2017, appearing at the Monterey, Montreal, Shanghai and Newport Jazz Festivals, and now NCJF! This Gal is HOT!

Ms Swift currently tours and records with the Emmet Cohen Trio, Benny Green Trio and Chris Botti, hitting all of the great jazz venues, and in 2020, will be one of the featured vocalists on the heralded THE JAZZ CRUISE. Find out more at www.veronicaswift.com.
