Big Crowd Turns Out To Honor And Support Grenoldo Frazier

jazzband

Noted Wilmington, NC resident, jazz performer and previous NC Jazz Festival headliner, Grenoldo Frazier,  has undergone recent unexpected heart surgery. Grenoldo is recovering nicely, but will not be able to perform for the rest of the year—no gigs means no income, but that does not stop the bills! Join us in a Benefit For Grenoldo to raise funds to help Grenoldo Frazier as he recovers from his surgery and regains his energy.

On Sunday, September 28th, the Delphina Dos Cantina downtown was packed with Grenoldo fans and jazz lovers to hear great jazz, pop and funk from a collection of Wilmington’s most talented musicians. A large sum of money was raised, through the purchase of tickets, silent auction and donations to help Grenoldo through his recovery.

You can make a donation to the Grenoldo Frazier fund—checks can be sent to the North Carolina Jazz Festival. The address is NCJF, P.O. Box 7681, Wilmington, NC 28406. Checks should be made out to Grenoldo Frazier Benefit.
