Ken Peplowski

photo Ken PeplowskiKEN PEPLOWSKI was born in Cleveland, OH, and began playing clarinet at age seven. He and his brother formed a polka band when he was ten and his brother was twelve. As soon as they started playing gigs, Ken knew that he was destined to play music for a living.

Over the years Ken has performed with such luminaries as Mel Torme, Charlie Byrd, Peggy Lee, George Shearing, Hank Jones Rosemary Clooney and Woody Allen, just to name a few. At last count Ken had recorded over twenty CDs. When not performing on the concert stage, Ken can be found recording for commercials and film scores. Ken can be heard on the soundtrack of Woody Allen’s “Sweet and Lowdown”.
